Zandokan Jr. - Wikipedia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Zandokan Jr. is a Mexican luchador enmascarado (masked professional wrestler) who works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). He has also made appearances for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

Zandokan Jr. is a third-generation wrestler from Guadalajara, Jalisco. He is the grandson of Alfredo "El Abuelo" Carrillo, who was a professional wrestler and the founder of Arena Jalisco. His father and uncles are also professional wrestlers.[1]

In 2023, he took part in NJPW's World Tag League, teaming with Yota Tsuji.[2]

At Homenaje a Dos Leyendas on March 21, 2025, Zandokan Jr. teamed with his storyline rival Star Jr. to defeat Esfinge and Valiente in a tag team match. As a result, the two were immediately placed in a Lucha de Apuestas, in which both competitors put their masks on the line. Zandokan Jr. won the match, leading to Star Jr. being unmasked and revealing his identity, as required by lucha libre tradition. After the bout, Star Jr. attacked Zandokan Jr., continuing their rivalry.[3]
