5 Paleolithic cave-dwelling sites

  • 1 Falak-ol-Aflak Castle (دژ شاپورخواست, Dež-e Shāpūr-Khwāst). A tall citadel located in the city center. Translated as the Heaven of Heavens, the castle dates back to the Sassanid era.
