BOE Leads Global LCD Display Market, Ahead of LG, Samsung and Others

According to London-based telecom consultancy Omdia's projection, Chinese electronic hardware producer BOE (000725:SZ) grabbed a 27.30% global LCD display market share in the four months through April 2020. Korean corporation LG (066570:KR), Taiwanese firms AU Optronics (2409:TW) and Innolux Corporation (3481:TW) trail behind with 15.40%, 14.80% and 16.40% respectively. One of the key suppliers to Huawei and a heavyweight in the global display industry, BOE can possibly be affected by the ongoing tech decoupling.
