Flare Blade

Flare Blade is Roy's neutral special move in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Chrom's in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Flare Blade is Chrom's neutral special move. Chrom charges up a sword strike, attacking with a slash that explodes. The move charges for as long as the player holds down the special attack button and automatically attacks when fully charged. The move can potentially perform an instant KO, but inflicts recoil damage on the user.

A difference from when Roy uses Flare Blade is that the move has fiery properties.
