Ectoplasmic Owl

Ectoplasmic Owl is one of a number of stock ghosts featured in Extreme Ghostbusters.

History[]

At some point, an ancient civilization sealed multiple Ectoplasmic Owls in an imprisoning structure using talismans and incantations. In 1997, a day after Achira escaped and was captured by the Extreme Ghostbusters, the Ectoplasmic Owls escaped from the same breach in Crosstown Subway, as the Extreme Ghostbusters wondered if the paranormal activity was over or not.

An Ectoplasmic Owl was one of Piper's emanations, used in his campaign as a paranormal eliminator. The Extreme Ghostbusters initially mistook the emanations as ghosts until learning their connection to Piper. When Piper was trapped, the Ectoplasmic Owl and other emanations seemingly dissipated when they were unable to reunite with him.

An Ectoplasmic Owl was captured in an undisclosed bust by either the original Ghostbusters or the Extreme Ghostbusters before eventually falling under Surt's command. When Slimer got himself trapped in the Containment Unit during the Fenris bust, the Ectoplasmic Owl was among the ghosts who escorted the Five Clawed Plank as it brought Slimer to their master.

Description[]
