Gore Series
The Gore Series is a series of very successful horror novels written by J.N. Kline while under the influence of the Vathek for most of the time.
History[]
The Gore Series was a horror series geared towards preteens filled with blood and viscera. Crainiac was always the mean monster in these books. Little did anyone know that the act of writing these books led to the existence of Crainiac, Corpuscle, and Gristle. To make matters worse, the next book after "Guts and Blood" would give the three entities complete immortality. Luckily, Eduardo Rivera blasted the manuscript and sent them back to their own dimension. Kline published another version as "More Guts More Blood" which featured the Extreme Ghostbusters. Even Kylie Griffin admitted it was a somewhat more realistic depiction of demonology that previous ones.

- On page 15 of Ghostbusters Volume 2 Issue #5, a Gore book makes a non-canon cameo on a book shelf.
- On page 10 of Ghostbusters Volume 2 Issue #19, the Gore Series book "More Cuts More Blood" makes a non-canon cameo in panel 4 under Peter Venkman's knee.
