The Real Ghostbusters Intro 2 (Seasons 4-5) and later changed with an updated theme song for (Seasons 6-7). The hour-long block was called "Slimer! and the Real Ghostbusters".

• Even though the Icon Ghost falls through the floor, Professor Dweeb was able to walk on the floor without falling.
• The front side of the sign has the two half circle hole, but as Icon Ghost falls, the half circle holes disappear.

Trivia[]

• The screen where the Icon Ghost gets trapped in the sign that shortly gets blasted off becomes a room.
• This was the only opening that got sped up/slowed down because of syndication problems. The same effect was not changed on certain episodes on The Real Ghostbusters Complete Collection.
• On page 12 of Ghostbusters 101 #2, in panel 1, on the top left monitor screen is the title card from the intro sequence of Slimer! and The Real Ghostbusters.
