WASHINGTON — Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, founder of the national gun violence prevention organization GIFFORDS, released the following statement thanking President Joe Biden for his leadership and endorsing the historic candidacy of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Throughout her life, Vice President Harris has worked to protect the American people’s freedom and safety.
