Hey there. You all probably know who I am if you've been in the Gravity Falls fandom a lot since the finale. My name is HK and I am the (insane) mind behind That GF FAN! This is a project that I have run since 2017. This here is my Fandom page which you probably have come on for one reason or another. Let me share a little bit below...

How I got into Gravity Falls[]

In 2017 I was in a bit of a rough patch and life was not that great. I did not know what or where to go until I saw this video by Saberspark that popped into my feed about a cartoon that had a great finale and became a benchmark for cartoon endings.^[1] I thought it was cool and remembered I'd seen promos for that very show in 2013-2014 and the shorts. I figured I'd give it a watch. It seemed fun. That show was Gravity Falls. I thought it would be a small little obsession. Yeah...that turned out to be years long!!

February 10th, 2017 - Watched Gravity Falls for the first time

February 16th, 2017 - Saw Not What He Seems for the first time

February 17th, 2017 - Finished my first watch of Gravity Falls

Late February - Joined Gravity Falls Amino and began my fandom journey

March 2017 - Began my Gravity Falls book collection by buying Journal 3 and wrote my first fanfic.

April 2017 - Bought the GF guide book and Time Pirates

May 2017 - Posted the first video to the That GF FAN channel^[2]

May/June 2017 - Expanded my collection with the Funko Pops, more books and other merch

July 14th, 2017 - Watched Alex Hirsch reveal the Gravity Falls graphic novel at D23 via stream on Twitter

July 2017 - Bought the coloring book^[3]

February 15th, 2018 - Participated in Puzzling Pines and saw Alex reveal Lost Legends

March 27th, 2018 - Saw the GF box set be revealed!

July 2018 - Got both the box set and Lost Legends

2019 - Expanded beyond to other fandoms and parts of it. Retired from fanfic writing and GF Amino.

2020 - Really began to give the channel focus and saw its first rise and helped find Alex Hirsch's lost Letterman appearance.^[4]

January 2021 - Bought a signed Journal 3 from Alex Hirsch.^[5]

Summer 2021 - Began commentary videos

June 10th to 15th, 2022 - Celebrated Gravity Falls 10th anniversary and helped bring lost pilot clips to the centre stage and make them viral!^[6]

July 2022 - helped in FINALLY Finding the source of the Slenderman GF hoax image^[7][8]

September 9th, 2022 - Interviewed Gravity Falls pilot animators^[9]

March 25th, 2023 - Interviewed Kiki-Kit for Lost Legends^[10]

July 15th, 2023 - INTERVIEWED ALEX HIRSCH!!

August 25th, 2023 - Refound a lost GF game!^[11]
