Chris John - Louisiana Political Museum

Chris John served in the Louisiana House of Representatives from 1987 to 1995 in the seat his father once held. From 1997 to 2005, Mr. John held the 7th Congressional Representative seat. While in Congress he served as a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee and as a member of the conservative and moderate Democratic group the Blue Dogs. In 2007, Mr. John accepted the top lobbying job with The Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association.
