The Shining 1980

Beautifully shot and only in the way Stanley Kubrick can a masterpiece! It amazes me Jack Nicholson stares off into space with mind numbing stares . No one ever looked more bat shit crazy. When he turns violent it brings it home even more. The movie sneaks up on you and never lets go! If you haven’t seen it, I’d be surprised if you haven’t, you need to check it out! A good movie! Is a bit of a slow burn! For entertainment value I was going to give the movie 3 and a half stars. But that would be comparing it to movies currently. These are good special effects now so at the time it must have been unbelievable. There are movies now that would love to pull off the surgical special effects. It’s also very stylish and beautiful shot! It is a must see classic! Check it out!
