Overview[edit]
On February 7th, 2011, StarCraft Brood War clan AoV announced their iCCup StarLeague[1]. Sporting a prize pool of over $700, then upped to $1000, it was the biggest foreign Brood War event since TSL2.
Format[edit]
- 20 days to qualify in ladder. (Feb 9 - Mar 1)
- The top 56 players then played in a four player bracket tournament. (fourteen groups with 28 players ultimately advancing)
- Four people were invited directly into the Ro32.
- The round of 32 was casted; a losers' bracket existed for those who were defeated at this stage.
- Bo3 brackets, Bo5 semifinals, Bo7 finals.

- 5th-8th place received 25 bitcoins (valued at $41.75 at the time of tournament completion).
Showmatch[edit]
The winner of ISL was granted a live casted and streamed match versus none other than INfeRnaL himself.
