Broxton
Its people welcomed me and the other Asgardians who returned after Ragnarok as though we were family. There was love and care here. Its destruction by the God of Hammers served no purpose. It was random and petty, destroyed only to bring grief to me. The attack came without warning, in stealth, and scores of innocents died as a result. I believe you know well what that grief feels like... and what it does.
Broxton was a small town in Caddo County, Oklahoma in the United States of America.
After his rebirth, Thor had recreated the City of Asgard close to the town about a couple of miles out, making it the new home to the Asgardians for some time.[2] He later raised it to float a few feet above the ground and paid for the land with some Asgardian treasure.[3]

Was the stage of a war between Galactus and the Asgardians over the Galactus Seed in Asgard. It was the Pastor Mike who proposed a solution to the crisis in exchange for his own freedom.[4]
Where the serpent was finally killed.[5]
Last Days of Broxton[]
With the wave of investments of Roxxon spearheaded by the new CEO, Broxton was quickly being rendered uninhabitable.
With the Asgardians leaving, they left an everlasting fountain and bountiful tree. Thor personally left his Asgardia home of Bilskirnir there for the remaining residents.[1]
Years later, Thor dropped Mjolnir outside of Broxton to test a flaw in its worthiness enchantment.[6] The city was later annihilated by the God of Hammers, reducing it to a smoking crater and its inhabitants to charred corpses, purely to spite and anger Thor.[7]
Return[]
The Asgardian Kelda had foreseen the Broxton's destruction years ago and wishing to keep it safe, created a hidden copy of it and its citizens at the peak of their existence, so that a version of the town may exist in peace indefinitely. However, as it was a copied moment frozen in time, it began to slowly degrade as years went on, causing the copies of the Asgardians within it to be corrupted into the Dark Asgardians.[8] Thor was able to sense this distortion in the ruins of Broxton and called in the help of Captain America and Spider-Man to help investigate it and hopefully bring Broxton back.[9]
They met with Kelda's copy within it who explained to them that they could use the copy to rewrite mainline reality and merge the copies with the real ones, restoring Broxton in the process, but the Dark Asgardians refused to disappear into their original counterparts and were actively fighting against it. The three heroes decided to venture into the preserved copy to take out the Dark Asgardians and help bring back Broxton by finding the "restore point".[8] They ended up fighting the Dark Asgardians who were keeping the restore point, Bill's copy, and successfully broke him out of Dark Asgard and into the real real world. There he was reunited with Kelda and embracing each other, the preserved copy of Broxton emerged into reality, completely restoring the town and bringing back all who had perished, including the two lovers.[10]
