Captain America, trailing Project: Democracy and the Punisher undercover at that time, found Booch in time to tourniquet him, and demanded the bystanders to get him a medic.[280] It is possible that Booch was really one of the agents used by Project: Democracy to mislead the Punisher. Angela Stone used a mock assassin to get the Punisher's attention, and it may be inferred that Booch was another of Stone's stooges to attract the Punisher to Michigan where Theopolous would attack him later, possibly without Booch knowing he'd be killed after being used. |

A male woman with body paint carried the unconscious body of the woman for a celebration, where she was to be sacrificed during a party that involved dancing around her, possibly by burning her alive. Supposedly, other women in the party came to be especially aroused after the death, leading to a further stage of celebration. General Navatilas invited corrupt U.S. Attorney General Roger Mollech to one such parties and, when Navatilas explained the activity, Mollech was aghast at the idea of directly murdering a helpless person, especially if it was discovered. Navatilas reprimanded Mollech's supposed cowardice, claiming that Mollech's illegal actions with Navatilas had already caused many other deaths, and eventually convinced Mollech to grab the torch and participate.[280] It is unrevealed whether Mollech came to burn La Bruja dead or not. |
