At some point, while experimenting with alternate dimensions, Quantrell opened a portal to outside the Multiverse, which allowed a "debaser unit" Beyonder of the Beyond Corporation to enter his universe. As he looked into the Beyond, the entity reached in and turned him into its avatar,[4] subsequently taking up his plans to take over the world using products and brands which infected the public consciousness in order to slowly control society.[5] Its plans, however, were ultimately foiled by the Mighty Avengers and the Beyonder ended up removed from reality alongside Quantrell.[1]
