Attack on the Time-Keepers
The Attack on the Time-Keepers was a reveal that the Time-Keepers are androids, due to Sylvie Laufeydottir attempting to kill them.
Background[]
Loki was arrested by the Time Variance Authority and interrogated by Mobius M. Mobius about working with Sylvie Laufeydottir, ending up imprisoned in a Time Cell with a loop of Lady Sif. Loki endured several loops and eventually sincerely apologized to Sif, as Mobius brought Loki out to interrogate him once more. Loki had tried to explain that the TVA was built on variants from alternate universes, but Mobius did not believe him and went to Ravonna Renslayer's office to celebrate.
Meanwhile, Hunter B-15 wanted to know the truth and went with Sylvie to Roxxcart Mall in order to understand her true purpose. Sylvie enchanted B-15, revealing her past life, though B-15 did not believe it at first. Sylvie showed B-15 her true memories as she questioned what will happen. Back at the Time Variance Authority Office, Renslayer told Mobius that Hunter C-20 lost her mind, though Mobius had doubts about it. Using his TemPad, Mobius discovered that C-20 had a previous life before the TVA and that everyone at the TVA was a variant, though Renslayer tried to cover it up.
Mobius went to find Loki in his cell and forgave him about everything. However, once they left the cell, Renslayer and some Minutemen confronted the two. He tried to persuade her about the TVA, but he was pruned before he could explain. Eventually, Loki and Sylvie were taken by Renslayer since the Time-Keepers wanted to see them. Once they were brought to the Time-Keepers' chambers, the Time-Keepers ordered that they were pruned. However, before the guards could do so, B-15 intervened and removed Loki's and Sylvie's neckbraces.[1]
Attack[]
A fight between Loki and Sylvie Laufeydottir against Ravonna Renslayer's Minutemen began, and as they defeated the guards, Sylvie confronted Renslayer. Renslayer picked up one of the Time Sticks and the two began fighting each other. Sylvie was pushed to the ground by Renslayer just as she slashed her chest, but Sylvie managed to knock out Renslayer as Loki took out the guards. The two confronted the Time-Keepers and Sylvie threw her sword at one of the Time-Keepers, beheading him. The other two Time-Keepers began laughing at Sylvie and were deactivated shortly after. Confused, Sylvie picked up the head of the Time-Keeper, realizing that the Time-Keepers were androids. They both wondered who controlled the TVA as they were dismayed about the outcome. Loki tried to comfort Sylvie, but before he could, he was pruned by Renslayer. Angered, Sylvie took down Renslayer and asked her for the truth.[1]
Aftermath[]
Loki woke up in the Void and was greeted by four alternate versions of himself – Kid Loki, Classic Loki, Alligator Loki and Boastful Loki. The five made their way through the Void as Loki wondered what plans they had of escaping, though they told him that they were living here. Loki tried to make demands with his variants, though Kid Loki stopped him before he could attract Alioth to their position. The four talked about Alioth's presence and their involvement with the TVA. Loki wondered why the others were following Kid Loki's orders as Kid Loki revealed that he killed Thor. Soon, the group arrived at the Loki Palace, where they made their shelter.[1][2]
