The Focke-Wulf Triebflügel[1] was an advanced rocket plane used by HYDRA during World War II.

The Triebflügel was a Vertical Take-Off and Landing tailsitter interceptor aircraft for local defense of important factories or areas which had small or no airfields. In November 1943, when Captain America attacked the HYDRA factory in Austria, Johann Schmidt escaped by using the Triebflügel.[2]

In an alternate timeline, multiple Triebflügel were pruned by the Time Variance Authority and transferred to the Void. While, Loki and Variants were going to the Loki Palace, they walked past one of them.[3]

Another one was seen in the background while Deadpool and Wolverine were fighting and when Wolverine fought and killed Sabretooth.[4]

- The Focke-Wulf Triebflügel nearly existed in real life, designed by Nazi Germany in 1944 (its appearance in Captain America: The First Avenger, meanwhile, was set in 1943). However, a complete prototype of the craft was never built.
