Freak/Forerunner Steve Rogers

"You're an angry one. But not as mean as my fisticuffs."
―Freak to Hulk[src]

Harold Joseph "The Happy" Hogan is a loyal servant of the Asgardian Royal Family with the ability to transform into the monstrous Freak when enraged, during the paradox period where the 17th and 21st Centuries were merged. While his universe was tearing itself apart with rifts, Hogan led King Thor's armies under orders to detain Captain Carter. When the Theft of the Scepter broke out, Freak battled against the Avengers until he relented, allowing Carter to restore the timeline to its normal state.

Sir Harold Hogan possessed the ability to transform into a purple monster and he served the Asgardian Royal Family. When Queen Hela was killed by one of the rifts that opened up in the sky, Hogan proudly crowned Thor as the new King. Thor ordered Captain Carter to be captured, so Hogan went to transform, but Thor stopped him, instead ordering Hogan to bring Scarlet Witch to him

Hogan leads the attack on Captain Carter

Hogan and Nick Fury reported to Thor about the destruction caused by the rifts, and learned about a Forerunner from Scarlet Witch. Following Thor's orders, Hogan led the hunt for Carter, tracking her down and sending the Einherjar and Royal Yellowjackets to attack her and her allies. Carter attempted to convince Hogan that she was helping them, but he refused to listen and captured her.

Hulk Hogan vs. Hulk

Freak fighting against Hulk

When the Avengers, who were working with Carter, attacked a court session, Hogan defended Thor. While fighting Rogers Hood, Hogan's feather was sliced, making him mad and he transformed into Freak, which allowed him to quickly overpower Rogers Hood. Freak was then attacked by Hulk, so the two fought until Carter identified that Rogers Hood was the Forerunner who was causing the rifts, and he was sent back to his time, ending the conflict.[2]
