Biography[]

Raina's Grandmother raised her granddaughter, sharing with her the stories about their ancestors, who witnessed how a race of "blue angels" known as Kree visited Earth, hoping to make humanity a "more worthy" race by destroying all but a specially chosen few.[1] She told her granddaughter that she was one of those worthy, and she would evolve into a transcendent and divine being, like an angel.[2] However, her grandmother died before witnessing Raina undergo a transformation, leaving Raina with only her stories to hold onto.[3]
