Ramakrishna Mission Baranagar started Amphan cyclone relief services to aid families affected by the Cyclone Amphan which wreaked havoc on 20 May 2020.
The centre is distributing cooked food to the residents of Vivekananda Pally, Lakshmi Narayan Colony, Skywalk Basti, Nivedita Colony, Sarada Pally, Ma Sarada Colony, Hela Basty, Sitala Mandir, Jayashri Nagar and Kheya Ghat Colony.
6 – 11 June 2020: The centre distributed cooked food to 805 families each day.
The centre distributed 3219 plates of cooked food among 797 families residing at Krishnajivan Palli, Sukanta Pally, Raigarh, Jayashreenagar area (near Dakshineswar), from 26 – 30 May 2020.
