Mutti
Mutti (ムッティ) is a whale-like airship from the Glyde Gang that is used to attack Nino Island in Mega Man Legends 2. The airship appears in the island's dock and releases an unlimited amount of Birdbots from the mouth that will attempt to break in. Each side of the ship has three machine guns, which will be used against MegaMan when he is within range.
Strategy[]
Mutti slowly approaches the entrance, starting in the far end of the dock. After a short time, Mutti will move to Skovorodá and ram it until the ship falls to open the way. Skovorodá will not go down while MegaMan is standing on it, but MegaMan will fall from the ship when damaged. If Skovorodá is taken down, Mutti will proceed to get as close as possible to the gate. There is a lever that will lower the platform near the entrance, which will return with two explosive drums that can be thrown on Mutti, causing some damage. It is recommended to focus the attack on all Birdbots present to prevent their attacks, attacking Mutti only while the coast is clear.
Only five Birdbots can be present on the area, three of them focusing their attacks on the gate, while two focus on MegaMan. Once Mutti starts releasing smoke due to the damage taken, all Birdbots present will focus their attacks on the Flutter until it goes down. This only happens once, new Birdbots resuming their pattern regardless of the Flutter's conditions.
