Primrose
- "Check the mysterious tower structure atop the antigravity lab."
- ―Stage description, Mega Man X8
Primrose (プリムローズ Purimurōzu) is Gravity Antonion's stage in Mega Man X8. It is an antigravity maze located atop a laboratory in northeastern Australia, possibly Queensland or New Guinea.
Description[]

The stage is composed of sectioned rooms, each containing gravity puzzles that involve stepping on switches to rotate the room's gravity. The goal of each room is to touch a green light to be transported to the next chamber. These puzzles start out relatively simple, but quickly become dangerous, as the player must be wary not to throw themselves onto spikes or under a falling block. When the player rotates the gravity, the camera rotates to prevent the controls from being modified.
Halfway through the stage is the mid-boss room, which contains either Vile V or a challenge wherein the player must avoid being crushed moving blocks.

After the mid-boss room, the next room contains a small tunnel of spikes. Traverse the spikes to find a teleporter to the capsule. It can be reached by manipulating gravity switches until the blocks fill up the tunnel, or using Axl's A-Trans to copy a Rolleroid. | |

In the final room before the boss shutter, the Rare Metal can be found atop spikes in the bottom left corner. Flip the room's gravity so it can be reached while avoiding spikes. Using Axl's A-Trans to copy a Rolleroid is another way to reach it. |
