Appearances[]
Profile[]
Persona 3[]
Acheron Seeker appears in the Monad Depths of Tartarus. Due to its lack of any regular attacks and somewhat low SP pool, it is possible to stall it out until it uses all of its SP and then rush it, as they it be unable to use other skills.
It later reappears as a boss on the 8th floor of Empyrean, accompanying the Rebellious Cyclops in a group of two. It is immune to all ailments, but neutral to Poison Damage.
When fighting them as a collective boss battle, all three enemies have an immunity to Ice and Wind attacks, leaving Yukari, Mitsuru, and Metis unwise choices for the battle. The Seekers are resistant to physical attacks, giving Junpei difficulty in doing decent damage while simultaneously leaving him vulnerable to their Garudyne attacks. This leaves Ken, Koromaru, and Akihiko as the few party members who can strike the Seeker's weaknesses with a passable Magic stat.
As the Seekers have Hamaon and Mudoon with accompanying Boost skills, ensure the party has a good stock of Homunculi or are equipped with items that defend against these skills. Maintaining Masukukaja and Masukunda, or alternatively inflicting Distress, will help in countering the Seekers' Evade skills that guard their weaknesses.
Persona 4 / Golden[]
Acheron Seeker appears on Path 7 of Yomotsu Hirasaka within the Midnight Channel. When defeated, it may drop Mysterious Eye. Selling 10 Mysterious Eyes at the TV extension of Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Shitisei Jakotsu for Teddie.
In Golden, Acheron Seeker appears on Paths 4, 5, and 8 of Yomotsu Hirasaka. It may be accompanied by El Dorado Beast and Rampage Drive. It is now weak to fire. In battle, it can confuse foes with Tentarafoo and Mind Slice or enervate them with Galgalim Eyes, aided by Stagnant Air.
