Profile[]
Persona 2[]
Innocent Sin[]
"I express my emotions through my art. I'm not much for chatting... But I think I can make an exception for you."
—Demon Painter, Persona 2: Innocent Sin
The Demon Painter resides in the Velvet Room. He claims that though demons and the forms they take come from the human subconscious, there must have been something to inspire their appearance, which he seeks to capture in his art. Unlike the other Velvet Room residents, who were created by Philemon, the Demon Painter is in fact a human, having lived in Sumaru City several decades prior to the game, where he became famed for having skills as an artist that rivaled even the works of gods and demons.
Eternal Punishment[]
The Demon Painter returns in Persona 2: Eternal Punishment as the Demon Artist. His role is the same as in Persona 2: Innocent Sin.
