Regalith Grand Cathedral (レガリス大聖堂, Regarisu Dai Seidou)? is a major dungeon in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Regalith Grand Cathedral is located in the Royal Capital Grand Trad. It is an enormous cathedral built around the time Sanctism was established as the state religion (some time around the twelve years following the prince's assassination). According to the memorandum, its enormous size implies thematically that Sanctism's authority overrules that of the royal family. To further prove the church's immense authority towards the country, the Royal Scepter was stored here alongside other royal relics, such as the portraits of previous kings.
Zorba and some of Louis' soldiers started a terrorist attack here known as the "Day of Calamity" under Louis' orders, where the necromancer would invade the grand cathedral and gather melancholia crystals in order to resurrect the corpse of a giant human right at the middle of Grand Trad and destroy it while he steals the royal scepter for Louis' own use.
Because the entrance to the cathedral is blocked, the party enters via the mausoleum. When the first time they enter it, they find out Zorba defiled Grius' corpse and turned it into a zombie to attack them. This results in Hulkenberg awakening her archetype to put the older man to rest for real.
Eventually, the party manages to corner Zorba all the way to the roof, where the Royal Scepter was taken away from him to the royal palace by the king's soul. They challenge him to a battle and defeat him, and he seemingly commits suicide by jumping off the roof and resurrected the giant human corpse Louis thrown at the king's funeral, the Homo Avades, who is working its way into destroying the city. It was stopped in its tracks by the party and slain once again. This officially thwarts Zorba's attack on the cathedral and the Tournament for the Throne begins during the end of the mourning period.
If the party does not stop Zorba's terrorist attack within 10 days, Zorba will enact the Day of Calamity as intended. The protagonist, Strohl and Hulkenberg become causalities of the event.
The dungeon has several side activities, such as the chain of events starting with entering a room blocked by rubble to attain the Guest Room Key via a tunnel from the room opposite of it, and unlock the guest room, behind which is a horde of zombies, after which a dying monk will entrust the group with a Treasure Chest Key to unlock a scripted treasure chest, which holds the Sanctified Amulet. The use for the key item appears later in the reception chamber, where the party have to position themselves at the bottom of the gold statue to reposition it; after doing some backtracking, this will grant access to a Treasure Chest containing Exorcist's Cassock.
After Rella commits suicide to free the prince of his curse, Louis challenges the party to a duel in front of the cathedral. Despite seemingly losing the battle, Louis takes the opportunity to use his human transformation spell to turn the protagonist into a human and tells them a half-truth that "the elda and humans are one and the same," omitting that anyone watching can become a human themselves. This destroys all of the protagonist's hard earned reputation and causes the public's anxiety to reach murderous levels, forcing the party to flee to the Ancient Eldan Sanctum.
