Course (education)
A course was a unit of teaching in an educational setting that was part of an academic program and contributed to the completion of a degree.
In 2378, Tom Paris was required to take a three day flight safety course with examination thereafter. During the test, Paris was given encrypted orders that interfered, causing his instructor that he failed the exam and would "no longer be allowed to operate a vessel within Ledosian space."
