Hailing channel 3

Hailing channel 3 was a communications channel used by the USS Enterprise.

In 2267, the Enterprise received audio from Apollo on hailing channel 3, where he greeted the ship's crew to Pollux IV. Upon hearing the message, Captain James T. Kirk requested Lieutenant Nyota Uhura to calculate response frequencies and open a channel. (TOS: "Who Mourns for Adonais?")
