The following is a list of unnamed Alpha and Beta Quadrant stars.

Altamid star[]

The planet Altamid orbited a nearby star. This star was located in the Necro Cloud nebula. (Star Trek Beyond)

Apergos star[]

The planet Apergos orbited a nearby star. (LD: "Strange Energies")

Argolis Cluster star[]

This star was the primary of a planetary system in the Argolis Cluster.

In 2368, the USS Enterprise-D explored this star's system. Later, the starship hid itself from the Borg in the chromosphere of this star. (TNG: "I Borg")

Arkonian planet sun[]

An unnamed planet claimed by the Arkonians had a nearby sun, which caused issues for an Arkonian and Human that were stranded on a moon of the planet in 2151. (ENT: "Dawn")

Badlands star[]

This star in the Badlands was located in a solar system and was orbited by a gas giant that itself was orbited by at least one moon. (DS9: "Heart of Stone")

Benzite system primary[]

This star was the primary of the Benzite system. Its physical appearance was replicated for a three-dimensional holographic view of its star system during a Starfleet briefing in 2256. (DIS: "Choose Your Pain")

Beta XII-A sun[]

This was of one of two stars in the Beta Leonis Minoris system of the Alpha Quadrant. (TOS: "Day of the Dove")

Beta Magellan system primary []

The Beta Magellan system primary was a star in the Beta Magellan system. A companion star to this one went supernova in 2364. The supernova occurred earlier than the nearby Bynars anticipated, and the resulting electromagnetic effects disabled their planetary computer on Bynaus. (TNG: "11001001")

Binary stars[]

These two stars of a binary star system caused only four nights in a month on an orbiting planet. (ENT: "The Catwalk")

Boreth primary[]

This star was the primary of the planet Boreth.

In the 9th century, according to The Story of the Promise, Kahless pointed to this star and informed his followers that they could find him there after he returned from Sto-vo-kor. In the centuries that followed, the Klingons established a monastery on Boreth, awaiting for his return. (TNG: "Rightful Heir")

In 2257, the Section 31 ship NCIA-93 emerged from the glow of Boreth's primary as it approached Boreth, to covertly drop off the child of L'Rell and Voq. (DIS: "Point of Light")

Borg renegade star[]

This star was the primary for Loresworld.

In 2370, the USS Enterprise-D lured a rogue Borg ship into this star's corona and destroyed it with a solar flare. (TNG: "Descent, Part II")

Cajitar system primary[]

This star was the primary of the Cajitar system. (SNW: "The Broken Circle")

Cardassian nebula sun[]

A nebula in Cardassian space contained this single star. (DS9: "Defiant")

Class L planet's sun[]

An Class L planet where Odo and Quark crash-landed in 2373 had a sun that was described by Quark as not much of a sun. Despite this, it shone light on the planet. (DS9: "The Ascent")

CME star[]

In 3189, this star experienced a coronal mass ejection (CME) event. The CME hit the nearby USS Tikhov, resulting in the death of the ship's crew. (DIS: "Die Trying")

Colony planet sun[]

This star was the primary of the planet known as "The Colony". (DIS: "Far From Home")

Corazonia's system stars []

The Dyson ring Corazonia was located in a system containing several stars, one of which was at the center of the ring. (LD: "In the Cradle of Vexilon")

Data's dream star[]

This star was seen in a dream experienced by Data in 2369. (TNG: "Birthright, Part I")

Delta Theta III star[]

This star was the primary of an inhabited planetary system. One of its planets was Delta Theta III.

In 2270, one of the problems solved by the contact team from the USS Enterprise was how the lifeforms on Delta Theta III were geologically younger, given the age of the star. (TAS: "Bem")

Deinonychus VII sun []

This star was orbited by Deinonychus VII. (TNG: "A Fistful of Datas")

Detrian star[]

This star was born into existence when the gas giants Detria II and Detria VI collided in the Detrian system in 2369. (TNG: "Ship In A Bottle")

Dyson sphere star[]

This G-type star was located at the center of a Dyson sphere discovered by the USS Enterprise-D in 2369. (TNG: "Relics")

Epsilon Mynos system sun[]

This sun was the primary of the Epsilon Mynos system. (TNG: "When The Bough Breaks")

This sun was only mentioned in dialogue.

Exo III sun []

As of the 23rd century, the sun of the star system including Exo III had been fading for half a million years. As it did, the inhabitants moved underground. (TOS: "What Are Little Girls Made Of?")

FGC-47 star[]

This star, classified as a neutron star, was located at the center of the nebula FGC-47, which had formed around it.

In 2368, the USS Enterprise, as it explored the nebula, performed a series of high-resolution scans on this star. It was discovered that the star had a rotational period of 1.357 seconds. (TNG: "Imaginary Friend")

This star was only mentioned in dialogue.

Federation star[]

This star was located in Federation space and was the primary of a Federation outpost.

In 2371, during Vice Admiral Toddman's conference with the senior staff of Deep Space 9, the sun could be seen outside the window of the admiral's office. (DS9: "The Die is Cast")

Fornax Disaster sun[]

In a holoprogram created by Barash, this sun going nova was the event which brought about the Fornax Disaster. In this simulation's 2383, Jean-Luc Riker asked his father, William T. Riker, for the stardate on which the sun went nova. (TNG: "Future Imperfect")

Galar system star[]

This sun was the primary of the Galar system. (LD: "Second Contact")

Gamma 7A sun[]

This fourth magnitude sun was the primary of the Gamma 7A system, in Sector 39J. In 2268, this star was destroyed by a space amoeba. (TOS: "The Immunity Syndrome")

This star was only mentioned in dialogue.

Gamma Canaris N sun[]

This Alpha Quadrant star was orbited by an asteroid belt that contained the planetoid Gamma Canaris N.

In 2267, one of the sensations the Companion wished to experience after her merging with Nancy Hedford was the warmth of this star on her face. (TOS: "Metamorphosis")

Genesis Planet sun[]

This sun was orbited by the ill-fated Genesis Planet. It was located in the Mutara sector of the Beta Quadrant. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan; Star Trek III: The Search for Spock)

Ghulion system sun[]

This star in the Ghulion system had at least four planets, the fourth of which was Coppelius. (PIC: "Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 1")

Hima sun[]

This sun was the primary of Hima. (DIS: "That Hope Is You, Part 1")

Igo sector binary stars[]

These stars formed a binary star system in the Igo sector. They were connected by a plasma streamer.

In 2369, during an exploration of these stars, the science vessel USS Yosemite became entrapped in the streamer. (TNG: "Realm Of Fear")

K'Tuevon Prime's sun[]

This sun was the primary of K'Tuevon Prime. (LD: "Veritas")

Kavis Alpha sector binary[]

This unnamed binary star system in the Kavis Alpha sector consisted of a red giant and a neutron star. Every 196 years, there was a stellar explosion in this system, when the smaller neutron star shedded the accumulated matter it had sucked up from the larger star over the intervening years.

In 2366, this system was the subject of an astrophysical research by Doctor Paul Stubbs. (TNG: "Evolution")

Khitomer system primary[]

Located in an unnamed sector in the Beta Quadrant, this star was the primary for the Khitomer system. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country)

Klingon star[]

This star was located in Klingon space.

In 2368 during the Klingon Civil War, Kurn used a clever technique of engaging warp drive near this star's surface, causing a solar flare that destroyed the two Klingon pursuers. (TNG: "Redemption II")

Kuiper belt star[]

This star was located in the system located in Cardassian space that contained the Kuiper belt that Odo and Weyoun 6 used in their attempt to hide from four Jem'Hadar attack ships in 2375. (DS9: "Treachery, Faith and the Great River")

Kwejian's sun[]

This sun was the primary of a star system that was the home for the inhabited planet Kwejian. This planet was inclined 3.86° to the sun's equator. (DIS: "The Sanctuary")

L-370 star[]

This star was the primary for seven planets in the L-370 system. (TOS: "The Doomsday Machine")

This star was only mentioned in dialogue.

L-class planet's sun[]

The USS Olympia crashed on an unnamed planet orbiting a sun. Captain Lisa Cusak survived for a time, and only after some time on the planet saw the sun rise. (DS9: "The Sound of Her Voice")

M-11 Sun[]

This star was the primary for the planet M-11, which was the home for Starbase 11 in the 23rd and 24th centuries. It was located in the Alpha Quadrant. (TOS-R: "Court Martial")

M24 Alpha system suns[]

The M24 Alpha system had a trinary sun. (TOS: "The Gamesters of Triskelion")

Malcor III primary[]

This star was the primary of its system, which included the inhabited planet Malcor III. (TNG: "First Contact")

Melona IV sun []

This star was the primary of Melona IV.

When the Crystalline Entity devastated Melona IV, the entity blocked the star due to its sheer size. (TNG: "Silicon Avatar")

Monac sun []

The Monac sun was the primary of its star system. There were at least four planets, including Monac IV, in orbit of this star.

In 2375, the IKS Rotarran, under the command of General Martok, successfully triggered a solar plasma eruption from the surface of the Monac sun from a magnetic instability near the equator. The resulting explosion destroyed the Monac shipyard, located near the star. (DS9: "Image in the Sand", "Shadows and Symbols")

Necro cloud star[]

The Necro Cloud was located near this star. (Star Trek Beyond)

This may have been the the same star as the sun of Altamid, given its proximity to the planet.

Nervala IV primary[]

This star was the primary of Nervala IV. Every eight years, this planet moved in closer to its star. When this happened, the planet's distortion field de-phased. (TNG: "Second Chances")

This star was only mentioned in dialogue.

Neutron star near the Verubin Nebula[]

Located near the Verubin Nebula, this neutron star emitted the radio wave JAG 3802725A which traveled through the nebula. (DIS: "The Sanctuary")

This neutron star was only mentioned in dialogue.

Operation Return battlefield[]

The battle between the Federation Alliance and the Dominion over control of Deep Space 9 in 2374 took place in the close vicinity of an unnamed star. The star was located near Bajor. (DS9: "Sacrifice of Angels")

Organia's sun[]

This Alpha Quadrant sun was the primary of the Organia system, which included the inhabited planet Organia.

During the Federation-Klingon War in 2267, Captain James T. Kirk tried to warn the Organians that Klingons would move against their planet "as surely as your sun rises." (TOS: "Errand of Mercy")

Pallas 14 system's stars[]

The Pallas 14 system was the home for a pair of stars. They were located in the Alpha Quadrant. (TAS: "One of Our Planets Is Missing")

The quadrant of origin for these stars is inferred based on the position of its star system as seen in the star chart The Explored Galaxy, which first appeared in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Conspiracy".

Pentarus system primary[]

The Pentarus system had a sun, which caused very hot temperatures on the habitable Lambda Paz moon located in the system. (TNG: "Final Mission")

Penthara IV sun[]

This sun was the primary of Penthara IV.

One of the plans proposed to save the planet after an asteroid impact was to use drilling phasers to open pockets of carbon dioxide. The idea was that enough of the gas would be released to create a temporary envelope trapping the heat of the sun. This greenhouse effect would give the planet time to mend. (TNG: "A Matter Of Time")

Persephone system primary[]

This primary was the sole star in the Persephone system. It was located in the Alpha Quadrant.

In 2259, this system was depicted on a map of the Persephone system, which was seen on a viewscreen in the USS Enterprise's ready room. (SNW: "Children of the Comet")

Phylosian sun[]

This sun was the primary of Phylos. It was located in the Alpha Quadrant. (TAS: "The Infinite Vulcan")

This star's quadrant of origin is inferred based on the position of its planet as seen in the star chart The Explored Galaxy, which first appeared in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Conspiracy".

Psi 2000 sun[]

This star was located in the Alpha Quadrant.

The planet Psi 2000, once remarkably like Earth, became a frozen wasteland after this star "went dark". (TOS: "The Naked Time")

Radvek V stars[]

Radvek V's solar system, located 1,000 light years from the Venari sector, contained at least two stars.

In 3190, the Dark Matter Anomaly flew by the system and flung the colony into one of the stars. (DIS: "The Examples")

Rat-lizard homeworld primary[]

This star was the primary of the system containing the rat-lizard homeworld. (LD: "Crisis Point")

Rhymus Major suns[]

These stars were the primary and secondary of the planet Rhymus Major.

When reminiscing about his time with Natima Lang in the holoprogram Picnic on Rhymus Major, Quark remembers these two suns being in the sky. (DS9: "Profit and Loss")

Sahil's relay station star[]

This star was in the same system containing Aditya Sahil's station in the 32nd century. (DIS: "That Hope Is You, Part 1")

Sector 1156 star[]

This star in Sector 1156 was orbited by the D'Arsay archive that at first appeared to be a rogue comet.

This star was the primary of a planetary system with four planets. (TNG: "Masks")

Sector 396 star[]

In 2266, the USS Enterprise rendezvoused with Haftel's transport near this star in Sector 396. (TNG: "The Offspring")

Silaran Prin's planet primary[]

This was the primary of a planet near the Demilitarized Zone. (DS9: "The Darkness and the Light")

System 892 sun[]

This yellow dwarf star was the primary of System 892 and had at least four planets, one of which was 892-IV. (TOS: "Bread and Circuses")

Talos system's stars[]

The Talos system in the Alpha Quadrant consisted of four stars. Two of these stars together formed a binary star system. This system had 11 planets, including Talos IV. (TOS: "The Cage", "The Menagerie, Part I"; Star Trek: Section 31)

Tamaal's system stars[]

Tamaal was located in a binary star system. (ENT: "Canamar")

Tarchannen system star []

This star was the primary of the Tarchannen system and Tarchannen III. (TNG: "Identity Crisis")

According to the script, the pronunciation for Tarchannen was "tar-CHAN-in". [1]

Taurean system star[]

This small star, located at the edge of a sector, was the primary of the Taurean system. (TAS: "The Lorelei Signal")

This star was only mentioned in dialogue.

Terellian freighter-crash planet sun[]

This star was the primary of its star system, which contained a sole Class M planet.

In 2370, Jean-Luc Picard asked Anna how long she had been on the planet since her ship crash landed. She did not know as she could not see the sun. (TNG: "Liaisons")

This sun was only mentioned in dialogue.

Tethys III star[]

This star was the primary for the planet Tethys III.

In 2367, an image showing the planet with its primary was in the ship's library aboard the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Clues")

Tkon Empire sun[]

This sun was a blue giant located in sector 9 of the Milky Way Galaxy. The throne world of the Tkon Empire orbited this star.

600,000 years ago, in the Age of Makto, this star went supernova, resulting in the deaths of billions, the destruction of the throne world, and the eventual end of the Tkon Empire. Numerous planets witnessed this event.

In 3189, Carl's edition of The Star Dispatch had an article about the supernova. (TNG: "The Last Outpost"; DIS: "Terra Firma, Part 1", "Terra Firma, Part 2")

Tsiolkovsky star[]

This star was being closely monitored by the SS Tsiolkovsky in close orbit for eight months. It was collapsing, changing from a red supergiant to a white dwarf. In 2364, the star finally collapsed. (TNG: "The Naked Now")

Tulgana IV sun[]

This sun was the primary of Tulgana IV. (LD: "Envoys")

Tyree suns[]

These binary stars had at least one planet, Tyree. (DS9: "Shadows and Symbols")

This system seems likely to be proximate to Earth and more familiar among Federation citizens, since Captain Sisko casually mentions Tyree, obviously expecting Jake and his father to know it. Indeed, the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 2, p. 431 described Tyree as a planet in Federation space.

Vashti suns[]

These suns were binary stars in the Beta Quadrant. They were the primary stars of their system and were orbited by the planet Vashti. (PIC: "Absolute Candor")

Vulcan monastery planet sun[]

A landing party from Enterprise NX-01 experienced a sunrise of this sun in June 2151 at the horizon of the planet that housed the Vulcan monastery at P'Jem. (ENT: "The Andorian Incident")

Zeta Gelis star cluster star[]

This star was located in the Zeta Gelis star cluster and was the sun of at least one planet. (TNG: "Transfigurations")
