Michael Piotrowski
Michael Piotrowski is a boom operator who worked on Star Trek under sound mixer Peter J. Devlin. [1] Piotrowski has collaborated with Devlin on many other films, including two written by Star Trek scribes Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman: The Island (2005, featuring Ethan Phillips) and Transformers (2007).
Piotrowski has also worked with Devlin on the films The Skeleton Key (2005, with cinematography by Dan Mindel), Southland Tales (2006, starring The Rock, John Larroquette, and Wallace Shawn), The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007, featuring Bruce Greenwood), and Frost/Nixon (2008, starring Frank Langella). He also worked with Devlin on Angels & Demons (2009).
Piotrowski's other film credits as boom operator include The In Crowd (2000, featuring Daniel Hugh Kelly), Summer Catch (2001, featuring Bruce Davison), and Radio (2003, featuring Alfre Woodard). He has also worked on such television shows as Jericho, Arrested Development, Dawson's Creek (starring Joshua Jackson), Desperate Housewives (starring Teri Hatcher), and J.J. Abrams' Alias.
