Ralph Byers

Ralph Byers (born 10 January 1950; age 75) is the actor from Washington, DC, who played one of the Enterprise crewmembers in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. [1](X) [2](X)

Byers has guest-starred on television series such as Charlie's Angels (1977, starring Kate Jackson), Kojak (1978), The White Shadow (1979, with Michael Pataki and Joan Pringle), Nurse (1981, with William Sadler), and Kate & Allie (1987). He also appeared in multiple episodes of Law & Order, working with fellow Star Trek performers Zach Grenier, Jordan Lund, David Spielberg, and Fritz Weaver.

In addition, Byers was a regular on CBS' Search for Tomorrow, first in 1980 and again (as a different character) in 1985. He also had a recurring role on The Edge of Night, appearing during its last two years in 1983 and 1984.
