Regina Parton

Regina Parton (born 26 August 1945; age 79) is a stuntwoman and stunt actress who served as stunt double for Nancy Kovack in the Star Trek: The Original Series second season episode "A Private Little War". She received no credit for her work. She filmed her scenes on Wednesday 4 October 1967 on location at the Bell Ranch.

Parton was one of the founding and charter members of the Stuntwomens Association of Motion Pictures in 1967 alongside fellow Star Trek stuntwomen Mary Statler and Donna Garrett; at the time she was married to actor Joe Castagna. She is the daughter of the late stuntman Regis Parton, who died in 1996.

She has performed stunts and stunt acting parts in films such as The Love Bug (1968, with Bill Couch, Sr., Carey Loftin, and Tom Steele), Dirty Harry (1971, with Andrew Robinson and stunts by William Couch, Vince Deadrick, Chuck Hicks, Dick Crockett, and George Sawaya), Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972) and Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973), Earthquake (1974, with John S. Parton has also performed stunts and stunt roles in television series such as The F.B.I., The Mod Squad, Emergency! (1973, with Kevin Tighe and Yvonne Craig), The Rockford Files, Charlie's Angels, Hart to Hart, and Adam-12.
