Romulus and Remus

The she-wolf suckling young Romulus and Remus
Romulus and Remus were Human twins born on the planet Earth in the 8th century BC. Legends stated that the brothers, when infants, were nursed to health by a she-wolf. The brothers eventually founded the ancient European city of Rome, and Romulus murdered his brother over where the city should be located, becoming the first King of Rome.
The Capitoline Wolf, a bronze sculpture depicting the wolf suckling the infant boys, was seen in the time stream as Earth's timeline realigned itself after Jonathan Archer and the crew of Enterprise successfully thwarted a temporal incursion by the Na'kuhl. (ENT: "Storm Front, Part II")
Romulus and Remus were referenced in the final draft script of TOS: "Charlie X". While Spock and Doctor McCoy were puzzling over how Charles Evans had managed to survive alone in a wilderness for fourteen years, Spock stated, "Even your Romulus and Remus legend allows for the presence of a wolf to look after the infants, Doctor."
