USS Yeager (NCC-1437)
The USS Yeager (NCC-1437) was a Cardenas-class Federation starship operated by Starfleet in the mid-23rd century.
In 2256, the Yeager was commanded by Captain Steven Maranville. Early in the Battle of the Binary Stars, the Yeager was disabled by Klingon fire, and the Klingons captured some crew members, including Lieutenant Ash Tyler. During the battle, Captain Philippa Georgiou of the USS Shenzhou, later reported to Admiral Brett Anderson of the USS Europa that the Yeager was "down on our side." (DIS: "Battle at the Binary Stars", "Choose Your Pain")
A display of the Yeager was visible in the mess hall aboard the USS Discovery when Michael Burnham visited that area shortly after arriving aboard the Discovery six months after the battle. (DIS: "Context Is for Kings")
