Hypergravity
Hypergravity is a condition defined by Human science as when the force of gravity exceeds what is normal on the surface of Earth.
History and specifics[]
Hypergravity fields were created when large amounts of mycelial spores of prototaxites stellaviatori fungus were packed together. (DSC episode: "What's Past Is Prologue")
An extreme hypergravity phenomenon was encountered by the Federation starship USS Enterprise in the 2260s decade. This occurrence affected the Enterprise shortly after they detected radio waves from it's source, the negative star mass at the center of the hypergravity effect in the year 2268. Hypergravity effect caused the Enterprise to be dragged towards the negative star mass. Enterprise was only able to survive by moving flank speed to an orbital vector.
