Dr. Nauga

Dr. Nauga is the mad German-accented pig doctor seen in the "Return to Beneath the Planet of the Pigs" sketch in The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence.

When the pigs discover that their human prisoner Rex speaks English (or "Pigish" as the pigs call it), he is taken to Dr. Nauga, who intends to cut the top of his head open and attach a hinge so they can look inside whenever they want. He later appears in an "At the Dance" segment during the special, holding a knife and asking two dancers if he can cut in.

The puppet was modified as a generic pig for the first season of The Muppet Show, and then became Dr. Julius Strangepork in the second season, returning to his German scientist roots.
