SCENE 1 cont'd
Tom suggests that he can saw the lock off, but Oscar doesn't want to as it would ruin the new lock. Luis offers to pry off the lid with his crowbar, but in addition to the possibility of denting Oscar's home, he ends up smacking Oscar in the head with it in the process. Oscar is saved when he remembers that his pet worm, Slimey, is inside the can and can help out. He calls for Slimey, who slithers the key out through the crack between the can and the lid. The can is finally opened up, and Oscar gives Slimey a celebratory pat on the head.

SCENE 2
Big Bird encounters Gordon, about to wash one of the windows of 123 Sesame Street. The top part is too high for him to reach, so he leaves to get a ladder from the garage. A very thirsty Mr. Snuffleupagus appears and offers to cooperate with Big Bird: he'll use his snuffle to spray the water and clean the window, then save the rest of the water for a drink. Snuffy leaves just as Gordon gets back with his ladder. He doesn’t believe Big Bird’s claim that Snuffy helped him, but is stunned when he notices the now empty bucket.

SCENE 3
Oscar installs a loudspeaker outside his trash can. He explains to Gordon and the kids that it's to prevent people from visiting him by playing sounds that will scare them away. The kids and Gordon however aren't frightened by the sounds of a fierce dog barking, or a lion roaring. Oscar plays his last sound, which is some upbeat dance music. Gordon points out that it's not scary at all. Oscar knows this, but he hates the music so much that it makes him go away instead.
