SCENE 1
|
Olivia finds Barkley sleeping on the stoop of 123 Sesame Street. She shoos him away, then Barkley tries to sleep next to Bob in the middle of the sidewalk. Soon, David shoos Barkley from sleeping in the doorway of Hooper's Store. Bob and Maria then catch Barkley trying to sleep in front of the Fix-It Shop, and realize that Barkley doesn’t really have a place of his own to sleep. They get the idea to build a doghouse for him, so Maria heads into the Fix-It Shop to draw up some plans while Bob looks for others to help build it.
