Sergeant Thursday appeared in an early Sesame Street sketch. A parody of Jack Webb's Sergeant Joe Friday on Dragnet, Thursday is a police detective working the day shift out of robbery. Along with partner Ben, Thursday is on the look out for a W. To approximate deadpan expressions, both Thursday and Ben have only eyebrows in place of eyes.
