This was an elimination style award that was made available for 30 days via the VH1.com website.

31 tracks were nominated, and fans were asked to vote for their favourites to keep them in the running. As each day passed, a song would drop out of the running and cement their position (i.e. the song that dropped out on day 1 would be in position 31, day 2 be in position 30 etc.).
