Idea
In knot theory, an oriented link (in particular: oriented knot) is a link L:(S 1) ⊔ n→XL \,\colon\, (S^1)^{\sqcup^n} \to X (e.g. a knot K:S 1→XK \colon S^1 \to X) equipped with an orientation on all the domain circles.
