Alternative dance of indiedance is een muziekgenre dat elementen uit rock subgenres combineert met elektronische dance. Het genre is vooral bekend in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, maar groepen als New Order en The Prodigy bezorgden het genre wereldwijde aandacht.
