Abstract
Reivindicacion 1: Un método para tratar un cáncer en un individuo, que comprende administrar al individuo una cantidad terapéuticamente efectiva de un antagonista de Axl y un antagonista de VEGF. Reivindicacion 7: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 6, en donde el anticuerpo anti-Axl comprende una region variable de cadena pesada que comprende la secuencia EVQLVESGGGLVQPGGSLRLSCAASGFSLSGSWIHWVRQAPGKGLEWVGWINPYRGYAYYADSVKGRFTISADTSKNTAILQMNSLRAEDTAVYYCAREYSGWGGSSVGYAMDYWGQGTLV (SEQ ID Ns:1) y una region variable de cadena liviana que comprende la secuencia DIQMTQSPSSLSASVGDRVTITCRASQDVSTAVAWYQQKPGKAPKLLIYSASFLYSGVPSRFSGSGSGTDFTLTISSLQPEDFATYYCQQSYTTPPTFGQGTKVEIKR (SEQ ID Ns:2). Reivindicacion 8: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 6, en donde el anticuerpo anti-Axl es anticuerpo 3G9 o una forma humanizada del anticuerpo 3G9. Reivindicacion 9: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 1, 2, 3 o 4 en donde el antagonista de VEGF es un anticuerpo anti-VEGF. Reivindicacion 10: El método de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 9, en donde el anticuerpo anti-VEGF es bevacizumab.Claim 1: A method of treating a cancer in an individual, comprising administering to the individual a therapeutically effective amount of an Axl antagonist and a VEGF antagonist. Claim 6: The method according to claim 1, 2, 3 or 4, wherein Axl antagonist is an anti-Axl antibody. Claim 7: The method according to claim 6 wherein the anti-Axl comprises a variable heavy chain region comprising the EVQLVESGGGLVQPGGSLRLSCAASGFSLSGSWIHWVRQAPGKGLEWVGWINPYRGYAYYADSVKGRFTISADTSKNTAILQMNSLRAEDTAVYYCAREYSGWGGSSVGYAMDYWGQGTLV (SEQ ID Ns: 1) sequence and a variable region light chain comprising the sequence DIQMTQSPSSLSASVGDRVTITCRASQDVSTAVAWYQQKPGKAPKLLIYSASFLYSGVPSRFSGSGSGTDFTLTISSLQPEDFATYYCQQSYTTPPTFGQGTKVEIKR (SEQ ID Ns: 2). Claim 8: The method according to claim 6, wherein the anti-Axl antibody is 3G9 antibody or a humanized form of the 3G9 antibody. Claim 9: The method according to claim 1, 2, 3 or 4 wherein the VEGF antagonist is an anti-VEGF antibody. Claim 10: The method according to claim 9, wherein the anti-VEGF antibody is bevacizumab.
