The invention also discloses one exchange machine, which comprises base station controller and user exchange unit, wherein, base station controller provides service to PHS public network and the user exchange unit provides service to private network.

Description

Device and method for compatible public network and private network calling in personal hand-held telephone system

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a PHS (Personal handyphone System) communication network, and more particularly, to an exchange.

Background

Currently, personal hand-held telephone systems have been greatly developed as extensions and complements to landline telephones. With the increasing popularization of PHS services, the requirements of telecommunication users on the mobility and quality of services provided by PHS networks are becoming stricter. On one hand, when the traditional PHS mobile phone is used in PHS public network, when a user enters an office building, a market and other indoor places, because the coverage effect of wireless signals in the indoor is relatively limited, the communication signals are poor.

On the other hand, when the PHS communication technology is applied inside an enterprise, although the work efficiency can be greatly improved, the enterprise needs to purchase, install, manage and maintain an internal extension system based on the PHS private network mode, so that the high cost and the complex maintenance and management are hard to bear by most enterprises. Moreover, for the operators, the operators are reluctant to share the initial network construction cost and the later network management and maintenance for the enterprises because the PHS network used inside the enterprises cannot expand and improve the PHS network coverage of the operators.

Disclosure of Invention

Aiming at the defects of the PHS communication technology, the invention provides an enterprise-level switch compatible with public network calling and private network calling.

According to one aspect of the invention, a processing method of an enterprise-level switch compatible with public network calls and private network calls is provided. The method can be realized by the following steps:

(1) the enterprise-level switch receives a call request initiated by a mobile phone and judges the network type of a calling party according to the call request;

(2) if the calling party belongs to a private network user, the enterprise-level switch performs user validity check on the calling party, and if the user validity check is passed, communication connection is established between the calling party and the called party; and

(3) if the calling party belongs to a public network user, the base station controller forwards the request to the public network, and if the user validity is checked, a communication connection is established between the calling party and the called party.

Preferably, when the call of the calling party is initiated from the public network mode or the public network channel of the dual-mode base station, the enterprise-class switch is configured as a base station controller. More specifically, when the enterprise switch is configured as a base station controller, it is connected to a gateway or a remote device of a wireless local telephone system based on a wireless network protocol standard in the PHS public network through an interface of the base station controller.

Preferably, the enterprise switch is configured as a private switch unit when a call from a calling party originates from a private network mode or a private network channel of a dual mode base station. More specifically, when configured as a private branch exchange unit, the enterprise-class switch is connected to the public switched telephone network through the private branch exchange unit's basic rate interface.

According to another aspect of the invention, a processing method of an enterprise-level personal handphone system switch compatible with public network calls and private network calls is provided. The method can be realized by the following steps:

(1) the enterprise-level switch judges the network type of the called party according to the incoming call route of the enterprise-level switch and broadcasts the call request;

(2) the called party sends a call response to the enterprise-level switch;

(3) if the called party belongs to a private network user, the enterprise-level switch completes user validity check on the called party, and if the user validity check is passed, communication connection is established between the called party and a calling party; and

(4) if the called party belongs to a public network user and the called party is paged through the public network, user validity check is completed through the public network, and if the user validity check is passed, communication connection is established between the calling party and the called party.

Preferably, when the communication terminal as the called party is from the public network, the enterprise-class switch pages the call request on the public network channel of the public network mode base station or the dual-mode base station.

Preferably, when the communication terminal as the called party comes from a private network, the enterprise-class switch pages the call request on a private network channel of its private network mode base station or dual-mode base station.

According to yet another aspect of the present invention, a switch compatible with public network calls and private network calls in a personal, hand-held telephone system is provided. It comprises the following steps:

the base station controller is configured to be connected with a gateway or remote equipment of a public network through an interface of the base station controller to establish communication connection for a communication terminal in the public network; and

and the user switch unit is configured to be connected with the public switched telephone network through the basic rate interface and establish communication connection for the communication terminal in the private network.

Preferably, the enterprise-class switch is connected with the public network mode base station, the private network mode base station and the dual-mode base station through the base station interfaces so as to provide network coverage of the public network and the private network at the same time. Further, the dual-mode base station comprises a public network channel and a private network channel.

Preferably, when the communication terminal in the public network is used as a calling party, the enterprise-class switch is used as a base station controller to initiate a call request on a public network mode base station or a public network channel of a dual-mode base station; when the communication terminal in the private network is used as a calling party, the enterprise-class switch is used as a user switch unit to initiate a calling request on a private network mode base station or a private network channel of a dual-mode base station.

Preferably, when a call is incoming to the enterprise switch from a base station controller interface connected to a gateway or remote device of the public network, the called terminal is paged at a public network mode base station or public network channel of the dual mode reference. When the user is called as the terminal user in the enterprise private network, the user is paged on the private network channel of the private network mode base station or the dual-mode base station.

The invention relates to a device and a method for compatible public network calling and private network calling of a personal hand-held telephone system, wherein an enterprise-level switch can judge the network type in real time and process the public network calling and the private network calling.

Detailed Description

Various embodiments of the present invention are described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Fig. 1 illustrates a functional block diagram of an enterprise level switch. Referring to fig. 1, an enterprise-class switch 106 is connected to a gateway or a remote device of a PHS public network through a basic rate interface to provide services for users of the PHS public network; enterprise switch 106 provides services to PHS private network users through a basic rate interface with public switched telephone network 100. From a functional perspective, enterprise-wide switch 106 has both the private subscriber switch unit function 104 of the PHS private network and the base station controller function 108 of the PHS public network. The private exchange unit can realize the functions of management, number analysis and routing selection, call processing of enterprise private network users, connection with the public switched telephone network 100, the integrated service digital network and the public land mobile communication network, and the like; the base station controller can quickly identify whether the call initiated by the user is from the PHS public network user or the PHS private network user. More specifically, if a call originated by a user is from a private network channel of the private network mode base station 114 or the dual network mode base station 110, the enterprise class switch 106 processes the call using its private branch exchange unit function 104; if a call originated by a subscriber is from a public network channel of either the public network mode base station 112 or the dual network mode base station 110, the enterprise class switch 106 processes the call using its base station controller function 108. In addition, as can be seen from fig. 1, the enterprise-class switch 106 is also connected to the public-network mode base station 112, the private-network mode base station 114, and the dual-network mode base station 110 through base station interfaces to cover the communication areas of both the PHS public network and the PHS private network.

Fig. 2 shows the calling flow chart of the operator PHS public network handset. Referring to fig. 2, the calling of the operator PHS public network mobile phone can be realized by the following steps:

(1) the PHS public network mobile phone initiates a call request to the enterprise-level switch;

(2) the enterprise-class exchanger judges whether the call is initiated from a public network mode or a public network channel of a dual-mode base station, if so, the enterprise-class exchanger is used as a base station controller to process the call and simultaneously sends a call request to a wireless local telephone system gateway based on an IP standard;

(3) the gateway completes the user validity check and sends a call request to the called user;

(4) the gateway receives the called ringing signal and sends the called ringing signal to the calling party; after the called user picks up the phone, the gateway sends a connection signal to the calling user;

(5) the calling user and the called user talk, and the called user releases the call after hanging up.

Fig. 3 shows a called flow chart of the operator PHS public network handset. Referring to fig. 3, the called party of the operator PHS public network mobile phone can be realized by the following steps:

(1) the enterprise-class exchanger receives a call request from a wireless local telephone system gateway based on IP standards and sends the call request to a called party of a PHS public network mobile phone through a public network channel of a public network mode base station and/or a dual-mode base station;

(2) the called user of PHS public network mobile phone receives the call request and sends the call response to the gateway through the enterprise-level switch;

(3) the gateway completes the user validity check;

(4) the called user generates ringing signal and sends the ringing signal to the calling user through the gateway; after the called user picks up the phone, the gateway sends a connection signal to the calling user;

(5) the called user and the calling user talk, and the calling user releases the call after hanging up.

Fig. 4 shows a calling flow chart of an enterprise PHS private network handset. Referring to fig. 4, the calling of the enterprise PHS private network mobile phone can be realized by the following steps:

(1) the PHS private network mobile phone initiates a call request to the enterprise-level switch;

(2) the enterprise-class switch judges whether the call is initiated from a private network mode or a private network channel of the dual-mode base station, if so, the enterprise-class switch is used as a user switch unit to process the call;

(3) the enterprise-level switch completes user validity check, and performs number analysis and routing on the calling party;

(4) the enterprise-level switch sends the call request to a called private network mobile phone or a public network switch;

(5) after the called user rings, the enterprise-level switch receives the ringing signal of the called user and sends the ringing signal to the calling user; after the called party picks up the hook to answer, the enterprise-level switch sends a connection signal to the calling party;

(6) the calling user and the called user talk, and the called user releases the call after hanging up.

Fig. 5 shows a called flow chart of an enterprise PHS private network handset. Referring to fig. 5, the called of the enterprise PHS private network mobile phone can be realized by the following steps:

(1) the enterprise-level exchanger receives a call request from a wireless local telephone system gateway based on IP standard and sends the call request to a called party of a PHS private network mobile phone through a private network channel of a private network mode base station and/or a dual-mode base station;

(2) the called user of PHS private network mobile phone receives the call request and sends the call response to the gateway through the enterprise switch;

(3) the enterprise-level switch completes user validity check;

(4) the called user generates ringing signal and sends the ringing signal to the calling user through the gateway; after the called user picks up the phone, the gateway sends a connection signal to the calling user;

(5) the called user and the calling user talk, and the calling user releases the call after hanging up.

In the calling flow and called flow of operator PHS public network mobile phone, the enterprise-level exchanger uses the base station controller in operator PHS communication network to provide communication service for PHS public network user; in the calling flow and called flow of enterprise PHS private network mobile phone, the enterprise level exchanger provides communication service for PHS private network user by user exchanger unit.

Claims (12)

1. A method for compatible public network and private network calls in a personal hand-held telephone system, said personal hand-held telephone system comprising an enterprise-class switch adapted to operate in a switch mode and a base station controller mode, said method comprising the steps of:

(1) the enterprise-level switch receives a call request initiated by a mobile phone and judges the network type of a calling party according to the call request;

(2) if the calling party belongs to a private network user, the enterprise-level switch performs user validity check on the calling party, and if the user validity check is passed, communication connection is established between the calling party and the called party; and

(3) if the calling party belongs to a public network user, the base station controller forwards the request to the public network, and if the user validity is checked, a communication connection is established between the calling party and the called party.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the enterprise class switch is configured as a base station controller when the calling party's call originates from a public network mode or a public network channel of a dual mode base station.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the enterprise switch, when configured as the base station controller, connects to a gateway or a remote device of a wireless local telephone system based on a wireless network protocol standard in the public network through an interface of the base station controller.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the enterprise class switch is configured as a private exchange unit when the calling party's call originates from a private network mode or a private network channel of a dual mode base station.

5. The method of claim 4, wherein the enterprise-level switch, when configured as the private branch exchange unit, is connected to a public switched telephone network through a base rate interface of the private branch exchange unit.

6. A method for compatible public network and private network calls in a personal hand-held telephone system, said personal hand-held telephone system comprising an enterprise-class switch adapted to operate in a switch mode and a base station controller mode, said method comprising the steps of:

(1) the enterprise-level switch judges the network type of the called party according to the incoming call route of the enterprise-level switch and broadcasts the call request;

(2) the called party sends a call response to the enterprise-level switch;

(3) if the called party belongs to a private network user, the enterprise-level switch completes user validity check on the called party, and if the user validity check is passed, communication connection is established between the called party and a calling party; and

(4) if the called party belongs to a public network user and the called party is paged through the public network, user validity check is completed through the public network, and if the user validity check is passed, communication connection is established between the calling party and the called party.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the enterprise class switch pages the call request on a public network channel of its public network mode base station or dual mode base station when the called party is from the public network.

8. The method of claim 6 wherein when the called party is from the PHS private network, the enterprise-class switch pages the call request on a private network channel of its private network mode base station or dual mode base station.

9. A switch device compatible with a public network and a private network in a personal hand-held telephone system, comprising:

the base station controller is configured to be connected with a gateway or remote equipment of a public network through an interface of the base station controller to establish communication connection for a communication terminal in the public network; and

and the user switch unit is configured to be connected with the public switched telephone network through the basic rate interface and establish communication connection for the communication terminal in the private network.

10. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the public and private network compatible switch is an enterprise level switch.

11. The apparatus of claim 10, wherein the enterprise-wide switch is connected to a public-network mode base station, a private-network mode base station, and a dual-mode base station through a base station interface.

12. The apparatus of claim 11, wherein the dual mode base station comprises a public network channel and a private network channel.
