Abstract
The invention relates to a particularly simple and efficient method for transmitting data to a route element (STE) used in guided ground transport. In said method, the position of the route element (STE) is determined (1) using a satellite, the route element (STE) is identified (2) by comparing the determined position with stored reference positions of route elements, and specific data for the identified route element (STE) is selected (3) as data to be transmitted and is transmitted (4) to the route element (STE). The invention further relates to a mobile control unit (MBG) and an arrangement for transmitting data to a route element (STE) used in guided ground transport.
