Abstract

The container comprises a lower portion (9) and a cover sheet (12) to be sealed therewith. In the lower portion of the container there are provided a small chamber (10) and a large reaction chamber (11). Between those two chambers, a bridge (16) is provided. The cover sheet has a strong thermolacquer layer (13) as well as a weak thermolacquer layer. A rectangular shaped portion (15) of the weak thermolacquer layer is arranged on the bridge (16) of the lower portion of the container (9). The liquid to be tested is supplied to the reaction chamber through an opening (18) provided in the cover sheet. By compressing the small chamber (10), the portion (15) is lifted from the cover sheet of the bridge (16) and the liquid is passed from the small chamber to the reaction chamber. This container is particularly appropriate for comparative tests of patient blood and blood stored with testing serum. Contamination risks are avoided.
