Abstract

The body (5) is made of fabric and has the top edges (17, 18) folded over and sewn to form sleeves around all four sides. These carry the frame (1) which is tubular, being two subframe pivoting together (3) to permit frame and body to be folded when empty. Attachment points (2, 6) are provided on the frame, at each corner, for one end of a safety belt (8, 9) the other end (10, 11) being attached to the vehicle. A net (13) is stretched over the top of the cot (14), being pulled over the four sides and secured by a slide fastener (15, 16). A mattress and rigid base fit in the bottom.
