Abstract

A tractor is fitted with forwardly extending angle section guide rails (5), one each side of the engine. The rear end of the rail has a combined stop and locking plate (8) with a slot in it to receive a slotted wedge shaped tongue (22) on beam (21) of an implement (2) to the carried by the tractor. The implement has a beam (21) on each side which is receivable by and slidable along the beam (5). The front end of each beam has a stop plate which engages against the front end of the rail. The stop plate has a hole (25) in which a locating bar (10) on beam (5) is received. Locking is completed by a locking wedge (15) which is entered into slot (9) in tongue (22).
