Abstract

1,159,714. Golf club shaft. K. WILSON. 30 June, 1967 [18 July, 1966], No. 32154/66. Heading A6D. As shown in the Figs. 1 and 2 a golf club shaft is constructed of three portions comprising an upper handle cylindrical portion of substantially circular cross-section, a central tapered portion of elliptical cross-section and a lower tapered portion of substantially circular cross-section. The shaft may be made of steel tubing from 1/32 to 1/16 of an inch thickness.
