602,590. Refrigerators. EARLE, G. L. C. Feb. 2, 1945, No. 2674. Convention date, Jan. 15, 1944. [Class 29] The rear wall 37 of the lower portion 20 of a refrigerator projects beyond the rear wall 36 of the upper portion 22 containing the evaporator 30 and may fit into a recess 38 of the dividing wall between a kitchen and a bathroom, a basin 11 being supported on the top of the recess, or it may fit under the deck of a motor boat. Drawers 42 are fitted in the lower portion and the cold air from the evaporator is guided by deflecting members 50, 51 to the rear and front of the drawers. Mesh cages 53 with vertical partitions 60 placed over openings in the drawers enable air to flow into and between the drawers. The front of the upper portion may be set back to form a table surface 23. The refrigerator may be combined with a stove, and a sink may be recessed into the table 23. Specification 581,121 is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 states that additional evaporator coils can be provided in the lower portion 20. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
