DESCRIZIONE DELL’INVENZIONE INDUSTRIALE CHE HA PER TITOLO “APPARATO PER PULIZIA CUSTODIE SUBACQUEE TRASPARENTI MEDIANTE RAGGI ULTRAVIOLETTI” DESCRIPTION OF THE INDUSTRIAL INVENTION WHICH HAS THE TITLE "APPARATUS FOR CLEANING TRANSPARENT UNDERWATER HOUSINGS USING ULTRAVIOLET RAYS"
DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
At the moment, the solutions proposed in the underwater field to prevent the proliferation of algae and microorganisms on the housings of the equipment are essentially two: the use of transparent and non-transparent antifouling paints and / or manual cleaning. Both solutions are expensive and short-lived. The proposed invention faces and solves the problem according to a different logic. The use of UV rays of a certain frequency, in fact, acts on the DNA structure of microorganisms, absolutely preventing their reproduction. Consequently, even if a microorganism were to take root on the case in a very short time it would suffer irreversible damage which at best would make it "sterile". The UV lamps, similar to the common neon on the market, can operate at both 220 Volt AC by using an inductor in series with the tube and a special starter. Alternatively, using special electronic circuits called ballasts, it is also possible to power the UV lamps with an input voltage of 12 Volt DC.
Le fasi installative sono sostanzialmente 3: The installation phases are basically 3:
1) Inserimento della lampada nel portalampada e relativo fissaggio ad una distanza non superiore ai 3 cm dal bordo esterno della custodia; 1) Inserting the lamp into the lamp holder and fixing it at a distance of no more than 3 cm from the outer edge of the housing;
2) Collegamento dei terminali elettrici al circuito di alimentazione a scarica; 2) Connection of the electrical terminals to the discharge power supply circuit;
3) Collegamento del circuito di alimentazione alla linea generale di alimentazione; 3) Connection of the power supply circuit to the general power supply line;

CLAIMS OF THE INDUSTRIAL INVENTION WHICH HAS THE TITLE "APPARATUS FOR CLEANING TRANSPARENT UNDERWATER HOUSINGS USING ULTRAVIOLET RAYS" 1) Method for the protection of surfaces immersed in water from the attack of microorganisms and algae through the use of ultraviolet radiation. 2) Method as in the previous paragraph in which one or more UV emission lamps are placed adjacent to the surface to be protected at a distance that allows ultraviolet radiation to act on the DNA of the microorganisms, preventing their growth, engraftment and reproduction. 3) Metodo come al paragrafo precedente in cui nel caso di superfici trasparenti (custodie, contenitori per apparecchiature, sensori ed altro) le lampade sono possibilmente montate all’interno in vicinanza delle superfici da proteggere.3) Method as in the previous paragraph in which in the case of transparent surfaces (housings, containers for equipment, sensors and more) the lamps are possibly mounted inside near the surfaces to be protected.
